The Ice Hockey Association of Thailand has moved forward with preparations for the national teams, calling up more than 100 male players aged from 14 years old through the senior national team to report and attend a planning meeting. The players will then enter joint training sessions according to their respective age groups in preparation for international competitions in 2027.
The Ice Hockey Association of Thailand has called up male ice hockey players at all levels, from the U14 age group through the Thailand senior national team, to report for duty and attend a meeting outlining the team preparation plans and direction for international competitions in 2027.
More than 100 players were named to participate in this reporting session, marking another important step in laying the long-term foundation for Thailand’s national teams. It was also the first time that players trained together according to their respective age groups, allowing the coaching staff to assess their potential and systematically prepare each team.
The Thailand national teams included in the preparation plan consist of the Thailand U18 national team, Thailand U20 national team, and Thailand senior national team, with each team having important assignments on the international stage in 2027.
The Thailand national ice hockey teams’ competition schedule for 2027 is as follows:
- U18
The IIHF U18 Men’s World Championship 2027 Division III, Group B. The host country and official competition dates have not yet been announced.

The call-up for this reporting session therefore marks the beginning of preparations for the important missions ahead in 2027. The Association aims to ensure that players across all three age groups continue to develop their abilities and build the readiness needed to step up and succeed one another in the future, helping raise the standard of Thai ice hockey on the international stage.
