The Ice Hockey Association of Thailand has announced the names of 20 young Thai national ice hockey players under the age of 16 who have been selected to participate in the Pan Pacific Series 2026 in Queenstown, New Zealand, from October 29 to November 2, 2026. Janista Liwchalermwong will serve as the team manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tournament is a youth ice hockey development initiative involving four countries: New Zealand, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Australia. It provides young athletes with an opportunity to compete at the international level while learning from and exchanging experiences with players from different countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Thai national youth ice hockey team is also made up of young athletes from the Amazing Thailand Ice Hockey project, an initiative centered on Youth Sport Tourism that combines youth sports development with tourism promotion. International ice hockey competitions serve as a platform to showcase Thailand to an international audience, while also creating opportunities for young athletes to learn about different cultures, build international friendships, and gain experience from competing on the global stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
M.L. Kritsada Kasemsant, President of the Ice Hockey Association of Thailand, congratulated the under-16 youth ice hockey players who were selected and officially named members of the Thai national team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He stated that being selected represents another important milestone for Thailand\u2019s young athletes, made possible through their determination and dedication to training, as well as the support of their families, coaches, clubs, and all sectors that have continuously contributed to the development and advancement of ice hockey in Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Association encourages all players to maintain their determination and discipline and to develop their full potential, so that they can proudly represent Thailand as national team athletes and play an important role in the continued development of Thai ice hockey in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
